To ensure that students stand the very best opportunity, we offer our considerable experience in the UK Sixth Form and University system in all subject areas to give comprehensive advice to guide the student through every aspect of their application until they have entered their chosen place of learning. *For students seeking guidance on Medicine/Dentistry applications please see below for details of our Access to Medicine/Dentistry package.*


Full package service for all subjects (excluding Medicine and Dentistry):

  1. Accurate and precise consultancy with students and their parents/guardians on choosing the most appropriate universities and university courses;
  2. Responsibility for all aspects of the UCAS form and ensuring references are supplied well in advance of deadlines;
  3. Advice on personal statements;
  4. Advice on references and predicted grades where specifically requested by the school;
  5. Responsibility for ensuring all deadlines are met (UCAS form, supplementary tests and any written work required to be submitted);
  6. Assisting with supplementary forms for Oxbridge;
  7. Advice on supplementary exams (including LNAT, HAT, STEP etc. It is the student’s responsibility to register and pay for any supplementary tests.)
  8. Liaising, where necessary and appropriate, with specific universities and admissions tutors on behalf of the students and their parents/guardians;
  9. Arranging meetings, where appropriate, with the student and relevant University staff;
  10. Allocated time with highly experience and qualified EdmissionUK consultant in relevant subject;
  11. 2 hours specialist and intensive interview guidance;
  12. Assisting students chose their Firm and Insurance offers after all 5 universities have made their decisions.
  13. Specialised and intensive portfolio advice for Art and Design students entering Route B.
  14. Concise advice on student’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices for Route B Art and Design Courses

Access to Medicine/Dentistry Package
Due to the specific nature of applications to study Medicine and Dentistry, we offer a unique package for students. Whilst admittance to any School is not guaranteed in any way by EdmissionUK, we are confident that the package below will help give students the very best opportunity.

Students for the Medicine package can sign up from April 1, 2008 and the consultancy package will run until their final Medicine interview. Therefore the consultancy will last at least 8 months (April 2008 – December 2008) although some Medicine interviews may be as late as April 2009, so in that case the consultancy will run for 12 months.

UK-based students will receive:

5 hours one-to-one consultancy/advice with one of EdmissionUK’s Medical team (please see ‘About Us’ section on website for biographies) on:

  • * The best Medicine courses and Medical Schools for the student;
  • * Assistance with UCAS and any supplementary forms;
  • * Advice on personal statement;
  • * Advice on preparing for BMAT or UKCAT;

2 hours of interview techniques;
One 1-hour mock interview (and feedback) with senior academic consultants;
Guaranteed 1 week work experience at a hospital or clinic during the Summer 2008.

Overseas students, who will not be benefiting from face-to-face consultancy, mock interview or work experience, can still receive consultancy on courses, Schools, UCAS, supplementary forms, personal statement, advice on preparing for BMAT/UKCAT and interview advice, via email/fax/phone etc but at a reduced fee.

Hourly Services:

Further services are also available at an hourly rate. These include:

  1. General email advice on applications and UK Higher Education (excluding services included in full package); 
  2. Accompanying students and parents to various open days and interviews;
  3. Assisting the student through the 'Clearing' Process every August;
  4. A mentoring and guardianship service for students in their first year of Higher Education (including assistance with accommodation and adjustment into all aspects of College/University life);
  5. Advice on choosing specific GCSE, AS/A2, International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement subjects;
  6. Assisting students with finding relevant work experience and placements so as to enhance their application.
  7. High quality tuition in many A Level, Advanced Placement and IB subjects, including Mathematics, Economics, Business, Music Theory, English Language, English Literature, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Biology, History, History of Art, Theory of Knowledge. All subject tuition can be arranged on request.
