Professor Ram S Dhillon MB BS (Lon), FRCS (ENG)

 

Professor Dhillon is one of London’s most respected Consultant ENT & Head & Neck Specialists with over 25 years clinical experience.  In his clinical work, he sees approximately 1,000 new referrals and 1,500 follow-up patients seen per year and performs approximately 400 ENT surgical operations annually.

As well as his private and NHS work Professor Dhillon has been teaching and assessing through formal tutorials, lectures, marking written work and viva voce examinations since 1978. This has included structured and informal teaching to students, medical colleagues and colleagues from professions allied to medicine, regular one-to-one teaching of junior medical staff in out-patients and operating theatres and coaching of junior colleagues for postgraduate examinations. Professor Dhillon is currently Programme Leader, mentor and examiner for the Postgraduate Diploma in ENT (Middlesex University, London a course for GP's developing a Special Interest in ENT) and the editor of Clinical Focus (Primary Care) since 2005. He was formerly co-editor of CME Bulletin Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (1995-2005).

Professor Dhillon has practices in London including Princess Grace Hospital and Clementine Churchill Hospital, as well as Northwick Park and St Mark’s Hospitals in Harrow. Professor Dhillon is Honorary Professor, Middlesex University, London.
